The Talkies is a celebration of when the movies became the talkies in the late 1920’s / early 1930’s as well as the repeal of prohibition December 5th 1933.
Two Marx Brothers Films (ANIMAL CRACKERS and DUCK SOUP) will be played in the movie room with special surprise cartoons and short films during the intermission.
Appropriate 1920’s-1930’s attire is expected and encouraged. Gentlemen, please wear your best suit, tie, and hat.
Ladies, put on your best dress, shoes, scarf, and jewelry.
