In addition to performances this year, the Tangent Gallery will also be lined with artists and merchants throughout the night, displaying and selling their crafts, apparel, treats and more. Saturday afternoon will also include classes on the arts and styles of burlesque. Class schedules can be found at https://mibfworkshops.brownpapertickets.com/

Headliners will be joined by a cast of over 40 talented burlesque performers from around the world. Headliners for this year’s festival include:

** Miss Pussykatt “Shes so hot she could even make the devil purr”. This Michigan burly babe is an International touring performance artist and circus hellion, and founder and director of the Daredevil Circus Company and director at The Danger Damsels Burlesque Revue. Accomplished fire performer, aerial artist, burlesque and sideshow seductress, she has been featured on America’s Got Talent, seen on stage with Motorhead, NIN and the Dresden Dolls.

** Michigan’s own award winning “T-Rex of Burlesque”, Kitten Von Mitten!
Kitten is the 2017 Michigan Master of Comedy, Master of Lip Sync, and Best Overall Champion and World Burlypicks Master of Comedy and 2nd Place Best Overall.

** Redbone “The hottest thing both sides of the Mason Dixon Line”
is internationally known, Minnesota Grown. RedBone has been performing since 2005 as one third of Foxy Tann and Wham Bam Thank You Ma’ams who won the 2006 “Best Troupe” and “Most Vegas” titles at the Burlesque Hall of Fame’s, Miss Exotic World Competition. She has wowed audiences with her one of kind, whirlwind performance style in such exotic places as Chicago (Superstars of Burlesque), Denver (Lannie’s Clocktower), Los Angeles (Margret Cho’s The Sensuous Woman), San Francisco (Little Minsky’s & Hubba Hubba Review), and London (Immodesty Blaize’s Burlesque Review).

** Tigger! has performed in NYC since 1988 & around the world since 1993. A pioneer in the 1990s burlesque renaissance who won the 1st-ever “King of Boylesque/Mr. Exotic World” title at Burlesque Hall of Fame in Las Vegas 2006. He won numerous Golden Pastie Awards, including “Most Likely to Get Shut Down by the Law” & “Most Unpredictable Performer.” His act was banned in Rome in 2011. He has performed all around Europe, Australia, North America, and South America.

** and it is our honor and privilege to be hosting burlesque legend Tiffany Carter!!!
Miss Nude Universe 1975, Tiffany Carter began her Burlesque career at the infamous Pink Pussycat in Hollywood, California. An active, in-demand entertainer with Sparky Blaine’s American Showgirl agency, Tiffany toured the U.S., Canada, and Japan from the late 1960s through the 1980s.
Throughout her 20+ years in Burlesque, she has been a muse to MIT-trained engineer-turned-Burlesque costumer Bobby Gersten and performed alongside such legendary performers as Tempest Storm, Blaze Starr, Satan’s Angel, Kitten Natividad, Tura Satana, Delilah Jones, Shannon Doah, Akiko O’Toole, Machine Gun Kelly, Crystal Blue, Lovey Goldmine, and Teri Starr.
